Directions for use

Adults: Take 2 tablets with a fat-containing meal or snack, 3 times a day.

As FCBx is a dietary fibre, it’s important to ensure you have an adequate intake of water when taking Nuvexa.

If you’re on a low fat diet, please consult your healthcare professional before using Nuvexa. Nuvexa is well tolerated; however, it may cause gastrointestinal upset if the recommended dosage is exceeded.

How should Nuvexa be used?

It is recommended to take two tablets of Nuvexa with a fat-containing meal or snack three times a day. This is a total of six tablets each day.

Is Nuvexa likely to interact with any medications?

There are no known drug interactions with Nuvexa. Let your healthcare professional know if you start taking Nuvexa.

How quickly does Nuvexa start to work?

Nuvexa can start to work from the first dose. Clinical studies with Nuvexa showed beneficial effects after 2-3 weeks. You should continue to take Nuvexa as long as advised by your healthcare professional.

Does Nuvexa contain gluten?

There is no added gluten. There are also no added lactose, yeast, wheat, sugar, salt, egg, soy, dairy, artificial colours, sweeteners or preservatives.

Does Nuvexa contain any allergens?

How long can Nuvexa be taken?

Nuvexa can be taken for as long as needed or as recommended by a healthcare professional.

What is FBCx made from/what does it contain?

FBCx is a soluble fibre derived from corn. Each Nuvexa tablet contains 1 gram of the (alpha-cyclodextrin) fibre patented as FBCx.

Does Nuvexa treat all fats equally?

Nuvexa with FBCx binds and reduces fat absorbed from food. An animal study conducted by professors at the University of Minnesota suggests that Nuvexa may preferentially bind with saturated fat.5 Another study conducted by scientists at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) showed that animals receiving Nuvexa had significantly lower levels of saturated fats and fatty acids in their blood.3
